I am a 5’6½ shooting guard from Arcadia, California and will graduate in the 2020 class. I have recently gotten Co-Mvp and was the highest scoring player and second highest in steals on the team. I started playing basketball in Staten Island New York and then moved to Los Angeles, California my freshman year of high school. I played for 3 different high schools out of my 4 years of high school which has helped me be coachable due to having different coaches every year. This has helped me get the chance to develop new skills every year and adapt to new environments. I feel like my best quality is getting my teammates into the game whether it’s on defense, offense, or on the bench. I like to make sure everyone is into the game. My mentality to work hard has helped both on and off the court. My grit and competitiveness in practice and games has also motivated my teammates to become better players.
I am looking for an institution where I can pursue my academic major and play basketball at the next level competitively. I have successfully averaged a 3.3 GPA throughout High School, which included AP and honor courses. Balancing a challenging academic schedule along with sports has taught me a lot about multitasking, time management, and organization skills. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII level, or high academic DIII opportunities.
