I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. The first time I stepped on the court was with boys. Playing with the boys at a recreation center made me realize that this was a competitive sport and I wanted to compete with the competitiveness. However, I traveled many places to compete with the best. That also taught me many things growing up and preparing me for the college level of basketball. Basketball has been more than a game to me. I have overcame many friendships, making great memories, meeting new coaches, and having fun.
Academically, I am a great student athlete. I keep up with my grades / classes.
