Hello! My name is Lea Dulay and I will be in the graduating class of 2021 at Carondelet High School in Concord, California. On my free time, I usually draw, write, or take pictures on my Canon camera. I have a high interest in the arts like drawing, graphic design, photography and videography. However, I would like to major in the field of Kinesiology or even possibly in Psychology because after my time in college I would like to focus on sports medicine and well-being, as it is a passion for me to take care of myself and others and be the healthiest and most fit I can be. I started playing basketball at a very young age, at the age of 8 in the 3rd grade. I never knew how serious playing a sport could be until I began playing competitive AAU in the 5th grade and ever since then I took it seriously, I've matured and grown with the sport immensely. Every time I step off of the court, I have that itch to play again, and when I step on, I want to give my 200% effort and try to be the hardest working player on the court. I aspire to be the example of great leadership on any team I participate in, whether it be by my words, my guidance or even just by how I play. Basketball is a huge part of my life. It has taught me skills like time management, communication, and leadership. It has never gotten in the way of my academics or my personal time with friends and family. I value my education and my leisure time with friends and family very much. I may not be the tallest athlete on the court but I assure you I have what it takes and most of all I am a team player. I am quick on my feet, strong defensively, have the ability to drive to the hoop and knock down 3 pointers. It would be a pleasure to continue my basketball career on the next level. So take a chance with me and I promise you will not be disappointed.
