Ayanna Broome '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ayanna Broome. I’m 16 years old and I am 5’5”. I have played basketball for 11 years, 5 of those years have been in AAU. I mainly play point guard/shooting guard but my skill-set gives me the flexibility to play the 3-position when called upon. I began my highschool career at Clayton Valley Charter High School as a starting point guard/shooting guard. I led the team to a 23-3 record and achieved Defensive Player of the Year.  I proudly finished my sophomore season as a primary rotational player during the school year and plan to carry that momentum into my junior year.

• Accepted to the Digital Arts Academy at Clayton Valley High School

• Accepted to the high school Link Crew (leadership program for sophomores, juniors and seniors to help freshman adjust to high school)

• Awarded ‘Silver Academic Award’ for maintaining a 3.8 or higher for three consecutive years

My goals in high school are to maintain my GPA and enroll in AP courses during my junior and senior years while continuing to play varsity basketball. I equally value academics and understand the importance of putting my learning first.  I would like to find a school that supports my academic and basketball future.
