Hello Coaches,
My name is Trinity Haynes. I'm a Principal's Honor Roll Student Athlete attending Franklin High School and I have a 4.0 GPA through 1st term 2018.
Academically, I plan to maintain an A average as I've always done. I'm focused and driven to earn my college degree in Business and Communications in order to position myself to become a successful business woman so that I be a positive addition to our society. I'd like to take a moment to share a recent accomplishment that I'm proud of. I competed and won a full ride STEAM Agricultural Technology Scholarship that allowed me to attended The UC Davis Pre-College Program in July 2018 where I studied and live on the campus for three weeks. It was an unforgettable experience for me, a 16 year old, to get a taste of college student living. As you can see, my continued education is very important for me to position myself to create the best future possible for my life.
I'm exhausted at the end of most of my days because I focus on giving my all to learning in school along with training and playing the sports that I love. I believe that you play how you train, correct repetition is the mother of learning and victory loves preparation.
I love playing basketball; my main positions are small forward and guard. I'm also a track and field athlete; my events are the 100, 200 dash along with relay races. My goal is to use my hard work, communication, skills and speed to bring championships and medals to the college that can best help me to meet my educational goals and contribute to my future growth.
I'm smart, I'm strong, I share the ball, I play tight defense, I love to rebound and I'm really fast. I always strive to do all that I can to help my team win. My coaches, teammates and those that have seen me play tell me that I communicate, I train and I play hard; I won't be outworked. I'm ambidextrous and my jumper is accurate with either hand from the elbow to the base line. I also shoot the 3 ball well. I'm a two way player; I love to steal and rebound the basketball. My favorite ways to score are rebound put backs along with steals into scores. As a freshman was blessed to average 10 pts, 10 reb, 3.7 stl and as a sophomore I averaged 9.8 pts, 11 rbs, 4 stls and 2 asst. I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.
Manners and respect,
Trinity Haynes
