My name is Kamryn Mafua, I am currently in 9th grade and stand 6'2" tall, I live in Folsom, California and will be attending Folsom High School. I absolutely love the sport of basketball. My goal is to play college ball, earn a solid education and hopefully play in the WNBA. I am a coachable, hardworking player with great work ethic. I am an attribute to my team on offense and defense. I’ve earned many MVP and All-Tourney awards. Playing with girls who are competitive helps to make my game better. I also like to be around my teammates, the stronger bond we have off of the court, the better we play when game time comes. Dedicating my time and effort to basketball always helps me feel a sense of accomplishment on and off the court. A newly applied skill or success in game time is satisfying. My priorities are set straight and I know that my education always comes first which is why I take my academics seriously. I have always maintained a GPA anywhere from 3.5 to a 4.0. If I had to choose a college to attend I would choose a University for their inspiring female basketball program. I want to be a part of a program that will help me to focus on my education, empower me as a woman, and help me improve my basketball skills. I look forward to playing basketball for the rest of my life, it is what makes me have a constant feeling of exhilaration.
