Kimberly Pickett '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6 senior point guard from Los Angeles, California. I have been the starting point guard and co-captain on the varsity basketball team at Narbonne High School since my sophmore year. My freshman year I played varsity at View Park Prep where we were the coliseum league and small school division champions. I received all-tournament in the Oregon Trails Tournament my sophmore year with my club team Salesian Force, all-tournament in the West Coast Jamboree and Fairfax Tournnaments my junior year, and recently just received the MVP award in the Fairfax Tournament. I have a 3.8 GPA, a 1570 SAT score, and a 23 ACT score.

I can offer hard work, dedication, and motivation to a team. I am always the first one in the gym and the last to leave. I give my all in everything that i do and I never give up. The team will always be able to count on me for inspiration and to be a great leader that leads by example.

I am looking for an institution that can challenge me both in the classroom and on the court. I am open to many different types of schools in all areas. Financial assistance will be very important in my college selection process because my family will have a high need for it. Ideally, I would like to attend an institution that can help me be a better overall point guard and leader. I would also like to be an impact player.
