Savannah Taylor '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate, hard working, and courageous basketball player who is striving to play at college level. I am a sophmore playing on a varsity travel ball team and varsity high school team. I have only been playing basketball for 2.5 years. I started the second semester 8th grade and played for the NJB League in Garden Grove, CA.  During the summer i tried out for the team at Pacifica High School and made it as a starting center for on the fresh-soph team. One year later I was moved to varsity where I played my entire sophmore summer season and school season. During the off season I played on the West Coast Academy travel ball team and train year round at the Next Level Sports Complex with coaches Jason Wright and Robert Lark. I have excelled during the past 2 years and enjoy every aspect of the sport. Hard work and discipline have a placed me at varsity level in just 2 years of beginning the sport. I want to continue to play through high school and join a college team that will teach, train, and allow me to grow into a great basketball player. I was a cheerleader for 5 years and also made it to varsity level, but chose basketball instead because I enjoy playing so much. I believe with all my effort, hard work, and dedication I will make a great addition to a college team as a player and individual. I have a couple of years left in high school and plan to study, work, and train hard to make sure I am a great candidate.
