Winning the Sea-View League Championship in my sophomore year was the highlight of my basketball career at Trabuco Hills. (so far) However, it was when we lost the game in my freshman year that determined whether my team got first or third that really shaped my dedication to basketball. After that year, I became solely focused on basketball and maintaining a decent GPA. The experience of my freshman year, gave me the drive and shaped me into the player I became in my sophomore year, and for the rest of my time in high school.
I started playing basketball when I was five years old. I was able to be coached by some of the best coaches in South Orange County. Under their guidance, Trabuco Hills has won the championship twice, the only championships the girls basketball program has ever won in the schools 30 year history. Last year we ended with more wins than any other season at Trabuco Hills. I am looking for a program that can challenge me and support me just like Trabuco Hills has. I am looking for a school that will build not only character, but that will maintain my love for the game and the opportunity to excel in the classroom.
