My name is Sadie Cox and I have been playing basketball for 9 years. My love of basketball started in the second grade on the court of my elementary school with my friends. I quickly found a passion for basketball and have continued to pursue the love I have for the sport. My dream is to play at the collegiate level and hope to make that dream come true.
I have been playing Varsity since my Freshman year. I play basketball all year round, both for my school team and for traveling AAU team called the High Desert Heat Academy. I practice everyday, either on my own or with one of my teams. I participate in many tournaments throughout the year.
I have a very high basketball IQ and I understand all aspects of the game. I can handle the ball well and can control the game. I work well under pressure, I spend a lot of time in the paint, I am not afraid to fight for the ball. I am a good team player and I have good sportsmanship. I am always trying to learn new things to make me a better player and I am easily coachable. I work hard on and off the court and always give my best effort.
I am a 4.0 student and I am on the honor roll. I am in the CSF Club Site for my school, which stands for, California Scholarship Federation.
I would love to play for the next level and I am working hard to get there both on the court and academically.
