Angela Obasohan '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10 Power Forward from Mission, British Columbia, Canada. I immigrated to the United States about 8 months ago and as of right now I attend Independence High school in San Jose, California. I have been a starter all the way through my High school career even as freshman starting power forward on my varsity team. I am an extremely hard worker,and an extremely aggressive but completely clean player, I guarantee you will never see another player rebound the way I do & you will hardly ever see me without a ball in my hands. I currently have a 3.7 GPA coming into Independence High school, I am currently waiting on my SAT/ACT scores. I would like to pursue a division 1 university with an outstanding academic/athletic reputation where I can put my  leadership/social skills to the test on and off the court. I am looking to major in Law or   Business Economics and either become a Lawyer or a Entrepreneur. My goals are to give back to the community and world, I would love to travel the world and experience the life that other people live in complete poverty and to finally realize everything that we have in 1st world countries we take for granted. So I'd love to raise money and give  back. I've been a captain for every sport I've participated and succeeded in since I was young, always being the first one on the court/field/track organizing our activities/warmups. I am looking for a team that I can make a direct positive impact on and bring my optimism and joy to everyone around me. I've always been a captain because of the way my encouragement and attitude affects my girls on the court, I have an attitude built for winners & I never let adversity get the best of me. I listen & execute which is what every coach needs from a player.
