My name is Yelene Segura, and I am an active participant in basketball, volleyball, and softball at Shandon High School. In college, my passion lies in the study of criminology and psychology, as I aspire to obtain a degree that will pave the way for a career in the FBI. What sets me apart as a valuable addition to your team is my strong leadership qualities, relentless dedication to skill enhancement, and unwavering sportsmanship. Both on and off the court, I am committed to continual improvement. While many acknowledge me as a natural leader, I attribute my inclination towards helping others and ensuring their safety as driving forces behind my actions. Currently serving as the ASB president, I actively engage in community involvement through organizations such as 4-H and FFA, where I have proudly showcased and sold a steer at the state fair for seven consecutive years. To further pursue my aspirations in law enforcement, I am an active participant in the Explorer Program, which provides invaluable firsthand experience in the realm of law enforcement to individuals aged 15-21 through the San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs Department.
