Samantha Bernal '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Bernal, and I play basketball for West Ranch High School. Throughout my years of playing basketball, I would not be the same person I am today. I believe basketball is more than just a sport and over the years I have learned that it's my source of happiness. Whether it's picking up a ball, practicing with teammates, or watching a game. For my last year of high school, I plan to have an enjoyable senior year because most of my high school experience was taken by the pandemic. Despite that, I plan to graduate high school and in college, I plan to major in business, specifically entrepreneurship, and if all goes well after college, own my own business. I have overcome many things in my life and during those times I've tried to find a positive side, and knowing I will be leaving high school makes me upset but I still have college to look forward to.
