Hi, I'm Aniyah, you can call me Niyah. I'll be starting my sophomore year at Harrison High School this fall. I’ve always loved basketball ever since I was little, and began playing on a team in middle school.
I currently have a 3.5 GPA, and thrive to attend college to continue on a academics standpoint and would also love to play Women’s basketball for a more competitive team.
Over the years, I've always played as a center, so i’m very used to playing in that position. I’ve also participated in track & field (100x4 relay, Shot Put, and Disk).
This year, i’m willing to lock in more and take “getting rebounds” to a next level. I feel i’m better at my defensive level than i am on offense.
I’m a big member in sportsmanship & teamwork, because it takes more than one person to create a good team. Good energy & Team effort really pushes a team to be successful in my opinion.
Furthermore, I have experience as a center, taking my size to advantage to play better being under the rim, and taking it to the basket. I take my sports very seriously and competitiveley and want to further my experience playing beyond highschool.
