Kanani Naipo '15 Recruiting Profile

I am currently committed to Northeastern Junior college as a sophomore, my first year I attended Colorado Northwestern Community College. This year has been all about finding my role on the court and developing into a well rounded player. My strength is three point shooting and rebounding, and I am working to develop into a stronger defended and passer. Other than skill I bring a strong team atmosphere to the court, I believe that to win games we have to trust our teammates and cheer them on even when they are not playing to the best of their abilities. I am a strong believer in teamwork wins games because it correlates with all aspects of the game; help defense, passing, rebounding, encouragement, etc. Throughout my first two years of college basketball, I have realized how much I love the game and how I am not ready to let it go. With that being said I hope to continue to play at a four-year university with a team that implements three point shooting heavily into their offense. I have learned so much during my first two years and I am excited to see what the next level will teach me and how I will develop into the player I want to become.
