Kaley Short '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kaley Short. I am a sophomore interested in playing at the next level. I have been playing basketball since I was five years old and have known that I wanted to play basketball in college since then. As a student-athlete, I understand that playing at a college level is a privilege.  

I am a dedicated, hardworking, coachable and passionate player when it comes to practices, scrimmages and especially games. I always make it a point to ask my coaches for feedback on how I can improve my game. Every time I step on the court, I strive to work harder and smarter than the day before. I consider myself to be a leader on the court, always encouraging and pushing my teammates to play their hardest. 

Similarly, I show leadership skills in the classroom. I am a diligent, persevering, and enthusiastic student. I take pride in my work, and I always aim to work efficiently in the classroom.
