After my sophomore year at Nipmuc Regional High School I was recruited by several Prep Schools and decided to enroll at Wilbraham Monson Academy as a repeat sophomore. I enjoyed my first year at WMA as the school broadened my academic capabilities and take part in a higher level of athletics in not only basketball but started on the soccer team as well. While at WMA I have also had the ability to meet new friends from all over the globe as the school has a large international student body. The cultural influence will allow me to adapt to any school I desire to attend in the future and has helped me develop a more outgoing personality. I don't believe I could have found a schools to better suit my needs and provide me the experiences to prepare me for college.
As a basketball team we are a close knit group and had a very successful season going 17 - 4 and qualifying for the playoffs. With these girls I have developed friendships that will last a lifetime. We often just hang out watching basketball and enjoying conversation as the schools atmosphere gives you this small town feeling. This has taught me to value my teammates and their friendships, and will make me a better teammate at the next level.
I enjoy spending time with my family, as our home is always our social gathering spot and my aunts live next door. I spend time with my young cousins, often teaching them basketball or soccer. I have always enjoyed a large group of friends, both in school and players on the teams I play on. One of the things I enjoy most is the friends I have made from area schools.
My goal is to attend an academically strong college that will allow me to reach my goals for the future while providing me the ability to play competitive basketball.
