Lakendra Johnson '16 Recruiting Profile

Unlike every other athlete out there I do not have any highlights , no stats , and I'm not nationally ranked right now ,but what I do have Is a drive that's very rare to find, and heart that's very hard to come by . This school year is my last year to make something happen. My last shot at making a name for myself. My senior year is my redemption year. I've committed myself to basketball my whole life, and the ball is in my court now. Basketball has helped form me as a person, it has truly built my character. Academically I've been able to achieve some great things , I've been recognized by some organizations for my academic work. Basketball for me is not the end all be all. I do wish to go on and pursue things past basketball. I love the leadership role, and motivating others so Sports management is what I plan on pursuing. It not only keeps me in touch with the sports that I'm passionate about ,but it also exposes me to that business and management world that I also have a love for.
