Sofia Rathbun '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball ever since I was in 2nd grade. My love for the sport had come around in 5th grade when I had the urge to play on a travel team and be exposed to competitive basketball. It was completely different from the recreational leagues I had played on previously, and I loved it. I looked up at my fellow teammates that were more advanced than me and practiced my skills to become just like them and even better. On the court, I am a great teammate. I cheer up my teammates no matter what. Outside the court, I enjoy going outside and doing other hobbies that like to do. Sometimes, I will call up my friends from school and even my teammates to ask them if they want to play pick-up basketball at the park. This past school year I finished with straight A's for every quarter, including my college courses. I look forward to my freshman year for both basketball and academics.
