Brayla Harris – Bio
Beyond the age of four, I started playing recreational basketball in my hometown, Augusta, Ga. Throughout elementary school, I was selected to participate in the Elks Hoop free-throw contest where I went on to compete at the regional level for the state of Georgia. When I reached middle school, I really began to hone in on my skill. I played the position of shooting guard at Pine Hill Middle school where my team and I won the Championship for the Richmond County school district. In sixth-grade I also competed in William Avery’s Christmas tournament and the CSRA All Star Tournament, both in which I was deemed Most Valuable Player. Furthermore, in seventh and eight grade, I led my team to the play-off’s.
I look forward to my high school years and welcome any challenges heading my way. First and most importantly, I will excel academically and continue my growth and passion in basketball.
