Jaiden Hamilton '19 Recruiting Profile

I love the game of basketball and I play it with passion. I am a rising senior and I play the PG and SG positions.

My parents and grandparents always supported and encouraged me to strive to be my very best They introduced me to the game. They also provided personal trainers, took me to an endless number of practices, training sessions, AAU tournaments, and high school games. I am so blessed by God and appreciative for my family, my coaches, and the many others that contributed to my development. I play for Laney High School in Augusta, Georgia and AAU basketball for the Georgia Sting (Avery). Winning the Georgia 2A State Championship as a sophomore was so thrilling to me. It gave me a dedicated spirit and desire to win again my junior year and we did! – back to back State Championships. I have that same excitement and passion going into my senior year with the goal to 3-peat as Champions. I surpassed 1000 points scored during early season of my junior year.  

I know that classroom success is the basis for being able to play ball. I place a high priority on being a good student and I have posted a cumulative 3.83 GPA during my high school years. My plans is to obtain my Bachelor Degree and thereafter, attend graduate school. I’m looking for a school that I can experience the "good fit" feel. I’m a second-year captain on our team and I lead by example and I keep our team goals held high. I am confident that I can play basketball at the college level and bring much to your program. My skill set has been forged over many years as I have played competitively since I was 5 years old to meet the challenge. I still work hard every day to get even better.
