Hello Coaches and Recruiters! My name is Egypt Johnson. I attend Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia. I am a 5‘3 point guard, but height has never stopped me from being an aggressive and hardworking player. I attended Brunswick High my freshman year and then moved to Camden County High School, my sophomore year. As a freshman I was a starting point guard and shooting guard and helped lead us to the city championship, as well as 2nd place in the region. I also ran track and was apart of several clubs such as key club, and Beta Club, which are both volunteering clubs. While doing this, I also maintained straight A’s and maintained a 4.0 GPA, took all honors and gifted classes, and was ranked number 5 in my school. At Camden, I wasn’t given as much opportunity to shine as I had wished but I gave my all, and academically I achieved amazing things. I raised my gpa to a 4.367 by taking rigorous advanced placement and dual enrollment classes, and maintained a 95 or above in all of them.
Ever since I first touched a basketball I knew that I wanted to continue my basketball career into college. I played aau from age 7 until I was 13 years old. Even though I could no longer play AAU, I still worked and trained to make myself better as much as I could. I am a playmaker and a defensive bulldog, and I love to learn, especially about ways that’ll make me better person, not just in basketball, but in life.
I want to attend a college that has one of majors, kinesiology, exercise science, or chemistry, as well as a team that I can make my family. I wish to attend a college that pushes me academically and athletically. In the long run, my goal is to become greatness, by any means necessary.
