As I have grown through the years, I have found a passion for healthcare and basketball. I hope to attend a college with an upstanding nursing program so that I may pursue a nursing degree. Basketball has become a significant part of my life as I have been playing year-round since the sixth grade. Playing at the college level has been an aspiration of mine from the time I was seven years old and I have been working hard at making this a reality. Academics are just as significant to me as basketball has been. Another aspiration of mine is to land a career as a traveling nurse in the medical field. This keeps me on track and working hard in my academic studies leading me to the many academic clubs I now actively participate in, the rigorous courses I am taking, and maintaining a high GPA. The accumulation of these goals have allowed me to grow as an individual student and player in the areas of hard work, perseverance, leadership, teamwork, and communication. I am still working hard at honing these skills as the point guard of my team, a participant in multiple clubs, such as the National Honor Society and Beta Club, and as an AP student and peer tutor. I would openly welcome the opportunity to share my skills and experiences as a part of a collegiate basketball team.
