2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I'm a 5'7 point guard/shooting guard from Decatur, Georgia and will graduate in the class of 2014. I have played on AAU basketball teams since the 6th grade and I am currently on Southwest DeKalb High School Varsity team since my freshman year. This past year, my junior season, I was our team's starting shooting guard and team captain, and started as point guard as well. As a starter, I averaged 8.1 points , 3.2 assist, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. I played a key role on my team in winning the 2013 Region 6 and 2013 5A Georgia state championship. I have a 3.8 GPA, and will be taking college courses this year as a senior. I participate in Cross Country and I am involved in extra curricular activities at my high school.
I am very interested in pursuing playing basketball at the collegiate level. I am a focused and driven student-athlete, and I am looking for a college with a qulaity academic reputation and a competitive basketball program. My plan is to major in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting.
