I have played basketball since I was five years old and have progressed in my skill level over the years. Last year, I suffered a torn acl while playing basketball and have had the opportunity to truly understand my human nature while going through physical therapy. This injury required intense rehab which took time and commitment. I have learned that I am very competitive, passionate about achieving my goals, and always willing to learn something new. My physical therapy experience also provided first hand knowledge about my possible future career. Some of my academic goals include graduating high school with honors and finding a college that is mutually beneficial. I realize the importance of good grades and a solid education in both high school and college in order to achieve my goals.
I was part of a great middle school team that lost only one game in three years, and I am currently enjoying varsity basketball. I have been part of the varsity team since my freshman year. I feel that I am very coachable and want to always be humble and willing to learn. If I am blessed with the opportunity to play basketball at the college level, I will be a team player at all times and will do all I can to help my team achieve success.
