My name is LaChae McColor. I am currently a senior, class of 2014. I am 5'9, weigh 140lbs and I am left handed. I play basketball and I can play positions from point guard to small foward and the post, I guard everything from 1 thru 5. I have been on varsity since freshmen year. This past season I was voted on the first team allstar team in the red division in our state for the second year in a row. Also I got invited to the End of the Trail in Portland, Oregon. I had an honorable mention of the top 25 players. I average about 16-18 pts a game from just the field goal area. I have now got a 3pt game in my arsenal and I plan to reveal it my Junior year. I was number one scorer in the state for 7 weeks im currently number 2 and at the end of the season even though we ended in the third round of playoffs, I ended up being 3rd scorer in the state overall. My goals are to go to college, major in sports and medicine, play ball for college and hopefully one day go to the WNBA. If that doesn't work out than I plan on becoming a profesional sports trainer so that i'll still be apart of the team no matter what. Our 2013-2014 season has got off to a good start so far. We are currently 2-0. We had a game last week Wednesday and I dropped 18pts and today me and my team had a great exciting game and I scored 24pts, beating my personal high of 22pts. Our team this year is looking pretty solid and I'm proud of how they play tonight! 12/10/2013. 12/12/2013.... Had a game against a three point shooting team but, came with the win 70-55. Beat my personal high again by one point- 25pts.Our next game is coming up this wednesday and friday. Mahalo and Aloha!
Last week, I was player of the week for scoring 24pts in one game and 25pts in another game. Also was the leading scorer in the state. We are currently 8-2 and this wednesday is our first playoff game and if we win that game on saturday we will be on TV for the semifinals for our division.
Recently, I received player of the year for OIA eastern division in Hawaii. Also First Team All Star in OIA eastern division 3rd year in .I was invited to the Geremy Robinson Inaugural Senior Classic and at the end of the event I received the MVP award.
Recently, I got one of the state's highest honor called the "Fab 15". It is voted on by coaches and sports writers in the state of Hawaii. I was ranked 5th in the state. To verify, you can look at the Honolulu Star Advertiser Sports dated 3/30/2014
