Mahina Kanoa Juni...Personal Statement
My name is Mahina Kaleiheana-Kanoa, I am part of the class 2021 at Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
I have been playing varsity basketball since my freshman year competing in D1 high school ball and recently D2, as well as competitive club basketball for Hawai’i Storm. I Dominantly play in a big position (3-5) however I’ve been expanding my positions to become an overall well rounded player offensively and defensively.
During these times of trials and tribulations the class of 2021 has had to find new ways of getting recruited by schools like you! I have found that reaching out is the best way I can get my name out there in order to find a school where I can continue my education and athletic career.
