Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I could walk, it has made a huge impact on the person I am today. My competitive attitude, my leadership skills, my teamwork, and my work ethic, I owe all to basketball. Basketball has been the source of many strong friendships and introduced me to many influential mentors, that continue to play a large role in my life today. This sport has brought me nothing but blessings as it has drove my athletic and academic success. Throughout my high school career, my team has qualified for the state tournament my sophomore, junior, and senior year. My junior and senior year we were able to bring home a second and third place trophy. The outcome from each season made me a better competitor for the next. I took each win and each loss and used it to become a better player, to learn from my mistakes but also from my success. My competitiveness and work ethic shows in the classroom as well. These skills that sports have taught me, have become a part of my character. I aim to be the best and perform at the highest level I possibly can, in anything I do.
Playing college basketball has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl, and now is my chance to make it a reality. As I start my college journey, I am in search of a school that will push me not only as an athlete but also as a student. I can not wait to build new relationships, improve my character, and become a better player through any basketball program who may see me as a great addition to their team.
