I am unsure about my college aspirations at this time. I am carefully weighing my options, but leaning towards something in the medical field.
I was the only Freshman on the Varsity team for the 14/15 season, and started every game except 2. I helped lead our team to a 2nd place finish in the 4A SIC district tournament, and earn a berth at State for the first time in 20 years. I was voted 2nd Team All Conference by the area coaches that season.
I was voted Team Captain by my teammates in my Sophomore season, and started every game but 1. Again, I helped lead our team to a 2nd place finish in the 4A SIC district tournament, and earn a berth at State. I was voted 1st Team, All Conference by area coaches and received the Miss K Award (for excellence in the classroom, leadership on the court, and overall basketball ability) from my coaches.
NEW My Junior season was one of transition - our school moved up a division, from 4A to 5A. We struggled a bit against the stronger and faster teams in our league, but ended up the 4th seed from the 5A SIC division at the state tournament. Again I was named a team captain, and helped lead our team to the state tournament. I received an Honorable Mention to the All-Conference team.
I've maintained a 4.0 GPA for two years while competing and lettering in Soccer and Track each season.
I play for the Idaho Flash in the Spring/Summer and spend many hours on my own time in the off season and on school breaks in the gym, working on my shots and ball handling.
