I’ve been playing basketball since I was 7 yrs. old. I’m currently 5’2 and am a sophomore attending Westinghouse Colelge Prep in Chicago, IL. Basketball is something I continue to have passion in and would love playing for the rest of my life. I’ve realized that if I want to be known so bad, I have to make myself known, meaning I have to make highlights. My goal is to become a D1 college athlete. I’m alwas determined and dedicated to grow and improve in basketball. I always want to be the first person in the gym and the last one out. Regarding to academics, I am apart of student government and the debate team. I’ve received various academic awards such as scholar awards, perfect attendance, B’s or better, gpa award, etc. What makes me different is that I think ahead. I never look back or now, I look at what can I do to make things better, not only in basketball, but in my life. I think about every decision that I make, weather if it would cause a good or bad effect on it, I think ahead, I have a purpose for everything that I do. As long as I continue to have this grit in me, stay open minded and determined, I can be a successful person. Yet, most importantly a successful female athlete!
