Abigail Gould '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Abby Gould, and I am a senior at Rochelle Township High school. I have been looking for a school that would suit me academically, athletically and spiritually.  I am hoping to receive a double major in political science and in pre-law. I have had a passion for basketball since I was a little girl. However, during my junior year, I realized that I needed to continue to play basketball in college because I love the game. I am not ready to give it up. I dedicated myself to the game all summer in which most of my summer was spent bettering myself in the gym. Hard work has never been an issue for me, and it is my motto. Whatever I am doing, whether it is school, basketball, or volleyball I put all of my effort into it. I decided to finish out playing volleyball my senior year, but I am especially looking forward to my senior year of basketball, and I am praying and hoping that this year will not be my last time on the court.
