Savannah Jost '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations include playing basketball or volleyball at the next level.  I plan to follow a pre med path to become a radiologist.  At this time, I’m open to all levels of collegiate play.  I am a good candidate for a collegiate team because I always give my best effort and am always one of the loudest players supporting my teammates and talking on the court.  I stand out from other 2025 recruits because during my freshman year of high school I beat Hodgkin Lymphoma, and I didn’t let it beat me or interfere w my love for the game.  I continued with both school basketball and club volleyball even though I was receiving treatments at St. Jude.  This trial was only a bump in the road that led me to ultimately be a better and stronger player.  During my junior school season, I broke a record at my school for most points scored in a single season with 483 points.  I also am second in my school history for rebounds in a single season with 280. Academically, I have taken honors classes and AP classes while maintaining a 3.95 GPA/4.0 (my school does not have weighted grading).  When I’m not in school basketball or volleyball, I also play travel volleyball and travel basketball in the USJN Blue Star League. In my spare time, I attend leadership sessions with the St. Jude Leadership Society’s national online cohort.  I have raised over $5000 for St. Jude in the last 2 years!  As I head into summer before my senior year, I’m looking forward to hearing from college coaches, going on campus visits, and finalizing my search for the perfect fit for me and my future career goals!
