My father has been coaching basketball for as long as I can remember, so I have always been very familiar with the court. I began playing at the age of 9 and grew an extreme love for the game. Playing basketball in college would fulfill a lifelong dream of mine and would be an unforgettable experience.
Some of my strengths include the ability to score, drive to the basket, draw fouls, knock down my free throws, and rebound. I’m also very proud of sacrificing my body to take charges from the opposing team. To improve my game, I am continually working on my shooting from outside, my quickness, and my endurance. I have a strong desire to be successful and always try to make my coaches and teammates proud.
In school, I have always received straight A’s and have been top 10 in my class for several years. Not only do I have a desire to improve my game on the court, but also have a strong desire to increase my knowledge in the classroom. I am please to say that I have maintained a high GPA this year as a freshman.
As for attending college, I am extremely open to all opportunities. It is important for me to find a college that pushes me to do extraordinary things. I hope that when I go to college, I can continue to do well in school and sports, so I can give all of the glory back to God.
