I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and ever since then I knew this was my passion. Upon entering middle school, playing AAU, and traveling to different tournaments I could envision myself playing basketball at the collegiate level. On the court I am a self-driven leader with strong defensive skills along with being able to read the court with a high level of basketball IQ.
I have played basketball almost year round since middle school; participating in school league and a league in Lafayette, Indiana. This has allowed me to improve all aspects of my game and prepare me for my high school and AAU season. I have also participated in the local soccer league within our city and I am currently playing on the varsity soccer team. Outside of school and the basketball court, I enjoy spending time with my family and attending my church youth group.
I consider myself a leader amoung my peers whether I am on or off the court. My academics are a top priority and I strive to maintain a 4.0 GPA. On the court I am versitile, selfless player and want nothing but successful for the team.
My current interests for a college degree are a degree in education or sports medicine while playing at the collegiate level.
