Hi my name is Ellie. Playing basketball is a passion of mine. During my freshman year I played varsity on the 4th ranked team in the state of Indiana. My team won their sectional. I played 14 minutes of our Regional game and scored 10 points. I have a strong basketball IQ. I understand the game well and I can anticipate. I am excited to be in my sophomore year. I am aware I will need to be a strong leader on my team as we graduated some strong seniors. Additionally, I play AAU for Indiana Basketball Academy. Academics are as important to me as athletics. I work tirelessly at both. I do everything in my power to obtain the best grades and be the most competitive player on the court. My collegiate goal is to play for a program that best fits me at the highest level. I will not disappoint any program I play for. A few things that separate me from others. I am a leader in all things that I do. I am not afraid to set the example. If something isn't right then I will speak up and say something. I am extremely competitive. I absolutely hate losing at anything. I listen to my coaches and trainers and work hard to implement what they're asking me to do. For relaxation I like to work with my cattle. I like to go to open shows and compete. I also enjoy spending time with my family. My grandparents are important in my life as well. However, the most important part of my life is my connection with Jesus. Everything I do is for him.
