Personal Statement
I am currently a sophomore at Colorado Mesa University and a former player for the junior college Murray State College where I played my freshmen year. For Murray State I started all season and helped the team to win the Regional and District tournament going on to Nationals. I led the team in assists and I averaged 15 ppg for the Regional and District tournament. For Colorado Mesa I shot 50% behind the 3-point line my sophomore year.
I am looking to transfer to a 4-year school, going into the fall of 2016 as a junior.
High School: Marselisborg Gymnasium, Aarhus, Denmark
I play basketball at the highest senior level in Denmark and I have been a part of the youth national team throughout the last couple of years.
I have been playing shooting guard for Colorado Mesa but for Murray State and the rest of my career I have been playing point guard. I am a player who is a team player and my goal is for the team to win over the individual results. I have a high basketball IQ, am very coachable and a leader on the court. I can guard a lot of positions on the court: I can guard both guard players up the court but also forward players with some height due to the fact that I am a 5'11 shooting guard and former point guard. On the offensive end I have a strong shot, shooting 50% behind the 3-point line and due to the fact that I am used to the FIBA rules (where the 3-point line is further out) I can shoot it deep. I also have a strong left-handed drive and I am very capable of finding open teammates.
Academically I have a GPA at 4.0 and I am studying psychology. I am very serious about my school as well as my basketball.
