Personal Statement

My name is Kia, and I'm from Aarhus, Denmark. I'm 20 years old, turning 21 this april. I have spend my freshman year in Carthage, TX at Panola College. The junior college is in region 14, which is a very competitive league. I have learned a lot and developed my game and adapted to the american style of basketball. I have got plenty of playing time to experience how the game is different here from home. I earned honorable mention at the end of the season. Further more I have been taking care of my grade and had a 4.0 GPA in the fall.

Before arriving to the states I played basketball for 12 years in Denmark- 11 in Aabyhoej and 1 year at Hjemly a boarding school with basketball. 

I played three year on the Women's team that plays in the best league in Denmark. Besides that I've played on the u16 and u18 national team for the european championship and with the u21 national team in China in April 2014.
