Personal Statement
I'm Başak Orhan and I will graduate from high school in 2025. I've been playing basketball since I was 9 and ever since I've been loving the game. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. Being in the competition and playing a team game is so much fun to me. In my opinion being one piece and playing for one goal is what means to me when I heard the word 'team'. Doing your best, fighting for your teammate next to you is very important to me.
As my personal strengths I think that I can read the game and think of a solution really quick to score a point. I have a high shooting range. As a defender, I can estimate what my offense can do and make her not score.
