Personal Statement
I do all around the year sports such as: cheerleading, basketball, and track and field. I plan to play basketball my whole college career and I plan to make basketball my lifetime career. I, as an individual in basketball am very skilled in defense, I am also improving on shooting and ball handling. I’m a very fast runner, so I can make it up and down the court quickly and easily. My original position is a small forward, but my coach is preparing me to play the position of a shooting guard.
My name is Serenity Ariel Owens, I am 17, I am in my junior year, my birthday is January 12, 2001, and I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. I’m a very cheerful and happy person, I love to make people laugh. I absolutely love dogs and some cats, and that's why whenever I retire I would like to start my own business collecting homeless, weak, and sick dogs. After giving these dogs the care they need I would let them live in a special facility built especially for the dogs, until we can find a loving family and home for them. I also want to stay connected to basketball, so I would like to coach basketball along with running my business. I’m a very social person it’s not hard for me to make friends or talk to people. I can hype people up whether it be on the court or on the bench.
I'm looking for a school that meet the requirements I need to help me with my career goals such as: sports management ,veterinary medicine, and classes in business management. I also want to play basketball at the school I attend.
I can bring a lot to the team I'm an awesome defensive player, I'm very competitive, my shooting and dribbling are good and improving. I have participated in track & field for 9 years, I have very good speed. I can rebound very well because of my height and long legs and arms.
