Personal Statement

Megan Cantellano is a dedicated, coachable and extremely determined athlete. She is an intelligent player who displays deceptive quickness and strength with a very high basketball IQ.

Megan is a strong team player, who listens to instruction and strives to learn new skills and concepts while also continuing to develop and improve her own core skill base. While individual growth is important, Megan always continues to work hard on reaching the collective goals of her team.

Megan is an accurate mid-range shooter with a strong three point range and is extremely adept at taking the ball to the basket either by driving the lane or posting up within the key. Excellent court vision and passing are also strengths of hers.

Megan is a proficient defensive player, being able to defend guards on the perimeter and Bigs on the inside making her an asset to any team. Megan also is an excellent runner down the floor ensuring spacing is maintained and lanes are filled at all times.

Academically, Megan is a focused student who has achieved and maintained excellent results at high school, whilst playing representative basketball at School, Regional, State and Country Levels.

She has completed the necessary 16 Core Courses in High School and would like to study in the fields of Architecture, Graphic Design or Civil Engineering

Currently attending Lake Region State College in ND as a Sophomore.
