Personal Statement
Basketball is my passion. I firmly believe my current clubs motto 'hard work beats talent'. I currently train 7 days a week. I am confident that I will train harder than anyone else on my team to be the best that I can be. I train with male teams and older age groups to push my limits and I have won player of the year for my club for two consecutive years. I am currently coaching a junior team to improve my knowledge of basketball.
I balance my academics and basketball by being organized and efficiently managing my time. I am also very committed to achieving academic excellence as I know this will secure my long term goals of being a veterinarian. Since primary school, I have received an academic achievement award every year.
