Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kiera Dunhill. I have been playing basketball since I was 8 years old. I am really looking forward to the next step in my basketball journey in the USA. My favorite basketball quotes are: "No excuses - get it done" and "Never give up".

I have coached Kiera Dunhill in an under 18s representative side and also during a summer league pro-am tournament.
As a player, Kiera is a coaches dream. She puts in the hours and hours that are required to improve her skills. Every time you give her something to work on she will apply those exact criticisms at her workouts to improve her flaws.
She’s a great shooter, driver and guard defender who will hold her own inside if necessary. But her best asset is that she is a great teammate by helping train everyone around her to be better.
I would throw all my support behind Kiera going on to the next level of basketball and becoming great. I hope you do too!

Comments from my other coaches: I have been called a Versatile Combo guard where I feel very comfortable at Point Guard with outstanding ball-handling skills and ability to lead the team in offensive plays but also extremely able to shoot from the outside and create fast breaks at Shooting Guard where I am often used for long periods in a game due to my fitness levels and work ethic on a court. I don’t stop! Extremely high aerobic energy levels - Cross Country runner at the Western Australia State Championships. Agile and fast down the court both offensively and defensively. Great defensive skills player especially putting extreme pressure on the ball carrier. Team player. Very high level of sportsmanship. Versatile athlete - Western Australian State tennis squad - past member and Western Australian State Cross Country Championships.
I work hard and put 100% effort into my basketball, strength and conditioning program and my academic studies. I have been awarded the coaches award on several occasions for my dedication and commitment to the team and club. It has been noticed and commented on the amount of work I do to improve on my own outside of formal basketball training sessions.
I was a sports captain leader at my school in 2018 and I received a citizenship award. In 2018 I made the WABL (Western Australian Basketball League) Allstars team and am looking forward to SBL (Women's State Basketball League) in 2019.
