My names Eden I’m a 5’10 (178cm) SF/SG class of 2027. I started playing basketball when I was 8, and ever since then I’ve grown love for the sport. I love working with a team and growing and improving with different people. I’m committed and I would love to play basketball in university!

  • Notes: In 1962, a few sporty young basketball fans of the CVJM Allschwil (Young Men's Christian Association) founded an independent sports group in order to be able to play basketball in addition to the actual club activities. At that time, this sport was not yet very present in northwestern Switzerland and had a niche existence. In the following years, the CVJM Allschwil section continued to play in the regional championship. Over time, those responsible wanted to give this sport more meaning and therefore founded an independent club called BC Allschwil around 1975. From this point on, this sport received much more attention and became known as an independent organization beyond the municipal boundaries. Basketball not only fascinated boys and young or young-at-heart men, but also became more and more popular among girls and women. That's why a women's team was founded in the same year to make the diverse interests of this sport accessible to both genders. That was still unusual at the time. Today there are boys and girls' teams as well as men's and women's teams at BC Allschwil are a given. In addition, BC Allschwil has had a youth department since 2000. Initially only very young players were trained, the so-called 'Minis' or 'Binggis'. Since 2011, the club has made great efforts to promote youth and, in just a few years, has been able to get a considerable number of children, teenagers and young adults excited about basketball under the guidance of very committed coaches. Numerous youth teams of both genders play regionally, interregionally and sometimes nationally and always amaze with good results and placements. BC Allschwil has now become a regional player with sporting significance in the Basel area and northwestern Switzerland when it comes to promoting basketball. Since 1962.
