Personal Statement

Ever since I started playing basketball in kindergarten, I've always wanted to play university basketball. Not playing basketball past high school isn't an option for me. I will do whatever it takes to play the at the next level. I'm a very hard worker and I aspire to succeed at everything I do. At the end of my grade 11 year I finished with a 97.1% overall. It is very important to me to do well in school. I'm a very fun person to be around and I always make sure everyone is included and having fun as well. On court I'm a leader for my teammates and make sure to encourage them to do their best but also pick them up when they're down. I also like to give my teammates feedback on how I think they can improve or if they're simply just doing great. I truly think I would be a great candidate to go on to the next level of basketball!

Canada Games Pod Training

Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball has selected a training pod of roughly 24 girls to prepare for the Canada Games in 2022. Originally the games were supposed to be in 2021 but they were postponed because of Covid-19.
