Personal Statement
Hello Coaches! My name is Amber Bing I'm from Adelaide, Australia and I am currently competing in my Freshman Year of college at Potomac State College of West Virginia University (NJCAA II). I am looking to commit to a 4-year school for the 2025/26 season and beyond. I'm an incredibly high achieve student-athlete with straight A grades and an unbreakable work ethic. I strive to get better everyday whether that is on or off the court. I will be the hardest working person in any room and I challenge/motivate my teammates to become the best versions of themselves both on and off the court also. Whether I am the best player on the squad or the worst I will continue to push myself everyday to become the player you as the coach and the player my teammates need me to be.
My love for basketball is beyond what I can put into words and I believe that is what makes me a great teammate as we strive to achieve our goals such as winning the national championship. Finally, I also strive to inspire the next generation of female basketball players through the way I carry myself on and off the court because I remember what it was like to be a little girl watching my favourite player from the sidelines and her be one of the reasons I kept playing basketball through all the adversity I had to endure.
