Personal Statement
Hi my name is shemilia and I can be a great candidate for your team with my drive to work hard achieving physically and academically. I am confident when I have the ball, I show leadership on and off the court work well with my teammates. I am currently in Germany and I know its hard to get noticed here, but its very important for me to get scouts out here to watch me play. One goal I do have is to have coaches watch me and look at what i can do on the court in addition to getting a basketball scholarship .When I go to college my first look is to make the basketball team then second is to major in Sports Management. Even if my plans to play ball doesn't go the way I plan I am looking forward to becoming a coach and helping others try to achieve their dream. Academically I do struggle sometimes but its always been that way since I was little, but I always strive for excellence. I don't give up when I am on the edge with my grades because to me that's like giving up in a game when my team is losing. Right now I am on track to graduate, I am playing B2B which mean " back 2 basics", its kind of like a AAU team and I'm getting myself prepared for my senior year and college ball.
