Personal Statement
I hope to find a sense of belonging within my team and college so that I can bond with people with equal passion as me for the game. Throughout my high school career, I've had limited opportunities in the basketball area but since my freshman year in varsity, I've been striving for more for myself and my team, hoping to gain recognition and a chance to improve myself and play at a higher level. I play as a point guard/shooting guard and have earned 2 MVPs in my high school basketball career (one in JV and one in Varsity), in addition to being captain both in JV in 8th grade, and varsity in my Junior year. Unfortunately, without accessible utilities, I am only able to calculate PPG which has been 20.8 in the 23-24 season. Playing in college will fulfill this dream of mine, as I am more than confident that I can not only bring talent to a basketball team, but more importantly motivation, optimism, and dedication. I also strive in academics-- I hold a 4.105 GPA, have 4 APs in my junior year (with 3 more to come in my senior year), and have a 1440 SAT.
