Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Anastasia. I play in Jurmala team, Latvia. I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. I am in all attacking positions on the floor and I have a very good defense because if I cover someone, no one can get past me. I have a very good speed on the field that nobody can stop me. I can shoot both three-point shots and two-point shots. The team and I have participated in various tournaments that were also held abroad. For example, Moscow, Belarus, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia. I have been recognized as the best player in many tournaments. I have played in the Latvian national team in age groups - U14, U16, U18. Last summer of 2022, in the U18 age group, we were with the Latvian national team in the tournament in France and in Greece in the European Championship. In 2023, I also participated in the Talent Games, where all the best players in Latvia were invited. But I also thought that in the summer of 2022, you will go to Spain for a small camp, where players are prepared for their future basketball life.
I played basketball from 1-12. for the class. I often made schedules for myself to get everything done. But I also managed to do everything very well. Therefore, in the future, I want to study and play basketball in parallel. That's why I want to find a college where I can play basketball and have a good and friendly team.
