Personal Statement
IMPORTANT NOTE: The high school listed in my profile is not the one I currently attend. I go to a Spanish school (Colegio Maristas Champagnat) in Salamanca, Spain. I have been playing basketball my whole life. I currently play in one of the most prestigious teams in Spain: Perfumerías Avenida. The team's goal for the season is to end up 1st place in our region (Castille and Leon) and within the top 8 teams in the national competition. I also play with the club's team in the high school league, where I average 10 PPG, 9.3 RPG, and 7.5 APG.I lived in China for five years up until my sophomore year, when I moved back to Spain. Although I am not the best player, I am the most hard-working one there is, and I am willing to put in all the effort and make the sacrifices necessary to play. Academically I am quite strong and determined. While I was studying at Livingston American School, I averaged a GPA of above 4.0. In addition, my SAT and ACT scores fit within the 85th percentile. As mentioned before, I study at a local school under a completely different study system in comparison to the American one. Overall, I am a diligent student-athlete ready to step out of my comfort zone.
