I have been playing basketball since I was seven years old but back then it was just one of the many sports that I played. Since I was 13, basketball has been the main sport that I have focused on. Choosing basketball was easy as I found it the most fun and I love the strategy and the adrenaline rush that goes with it as well as my coaches saying that I had lots of potential and could go far in this sport.
Throughout my years of playing basketball, I have won many titles including 1st at 3x3 nationals in 2018 and 2019, 2nd place in the premier league in 2019 and 3rd place at nationals for my high school in 2019 as well as 3rd place at club Nationals in 2020. These achievements have encouraged me to push myself to improve my game to continue to play at these high levels and ultimately representing my country. Playing in the college system would not only improve my game but also give me an experience that I can't get anywhere else.
I am strong in the post because I can establish and maintain position on offence and keep players out of the paint on defence. I am a hard-working individual who strives to complete all tasks that I receive. I continually strive to be better on and off the court. I have great work ethic and time management which allows me to maintain good grades and complete all task ahead of time.
